Jaxon's Growing

Jaxon is so much fun! I love seeing him get bigger and learn new things. He started to smile a lot more starting last week and it's so fun to see him smile so big when he sees his mommy and daddy. He also started "cooing" too and so he makes noises back to us when we talk to him. His tummy has gotten a little less prominent, but only because he's just growing in length. And best of all, Jaxon has learned to sleep through the night...mostly. He's pretty good at going from 9:30 to about 5:30ish in the morning, so that has been very helpful as I've had to start going back to work. He's just such a good boy and we love him so much!

Jack's 28th Birthday

It seems after a new baby that other life events seem to get a little short changed. So, sorry Jack that we didn't do as much for your birthday this year as we have in the past. But it sure was nice to just have a relaxing day together with the whole family and we got to enjoy some nice dinners with family and friends too. So, happy 28th Jack! You don't look a day over 20! :o)

Easter

I have not updated our blog in a while, so I apologize that there's going to be a lot that I need to catch up on. But let's start off with Easter. We had a fun dinner with Jack's family and it was so nice to have Jaxon spend time with this cousins and grandparents.
We're so grateful for the Easter holiday and for the reminder it brings of the great love our Savior has for us. It was a wonderful Easter Sunday.
On a side note, as you can see in the picture of Jaxon with his cousin Lucy, that Jaxon is losing his baby hair. His new hair is coming in, but it's still peach fuzz, and not very visible. I can't wait until it grows in a little more. The comb over look is just not quite as attractive as a full head of hair look. :o)

Jaxon's First Sunday

We finally ventured out to a Sacrament meeting with Jaxon earlier this month and it was so fun to dress him up in his Sunday outfit. The outfit came with a sweater vest, which would have been sooooo adorable, but it's still a little too big for him. I'll post another pic when he can finally wear that part of the outfit too. :o) But it's kind of funny cause Jaxon's little neck is kind of non existent right now from his little chin rolls, so we can't even button up the first button of the shirt on him. But we still think he's styling this outfit pretty well. :o)

And here's Jaxon in his bear suit when I took him out for one of his first walks outside. I love that he's soooo soft and cuddly in this little "jacket." Just like a real teddy bear!

Jaxon's Baby Blessing

We are so grateful for everyone that was able to make it on such short notice to Jaxon's blessing. It was a wonderful experience and we're so glad we have so many family members close by who could attend and a special thanks to the Lau parents for coming all the way from Canada to join us. Thank you for everyone for making it such a beautiful experience for us. Jack did a great job in the blessing and the spirit was present. We are so grateful for the power of the priesthood and for Jack's worthiness to hold it that he is able to perform such a wonderful ordinance. And for the family that were unable to attend, you were sorely missed and you were in our thoughts.
