Tour of the Apartment

Sorry it's been a while. It's just so much harder to find time to get on the computer for a while to do some updating. Anyhow, we finally took some pictures of our apartment and thought we'd show everyone where we live. I was hoping I'd have the bedrooms clean enough to post pictures of those too...but yeah, not happening. :o) So, here are pictures of our humble abode and we're loving it. Of course I would loooove something bigger, but we're good for now. :o)

JAXON IS CRAWLING!

So after weeks and weeks of Jaxon getting up on all fours and just rocking back and forth, he has finally broken through and got himself crawling!! We are soooo excited...and I am soooo nervous about what he's going to be able to get into now. But thanks to all the older little babies he has around to learn from, Jaxon is now crawling at 6 months....well, I guess just about 7 months. :o)

Ohio Outings

So we have finally gotten to go out and take a look at some of Ohio and it is a really beautiful state. We quite like it.
First, Jaxon and I got to see a little bit more of the city that the school is at, Independence, and play at a great little park for a play date. Jaxon got to try out a swing for the first time and I'm not really sure what he thought of it. We never got him a swing to begin with, so he's not really used to the swinging action. He looked a little worried everytime I would push him away from me to get him swinging.
And on Labor Day, we decided to check out a little bit more of Cleveland area. It's so green and the weather has been really nice and we have BEACHES! It's weird thinking of these little parks off the great lake as a "beach," but it looks and totally feels like one. :o) The water is not way cold and the parks are really well kept by the city. Too bad the weather is already getting too cold to really enjoy it all that much now though. :o(

Lightning Watching

This is a way out of date post, but I just saw these pictures again and thought I'd post them. A couple of days after I got out here, there were thunder storms like every other night and Jack and I sat out on our balcony and just watched the storm and lightning since there was no rain. Here's just a couple of the cool shots I was able to take. Lighting btw, is SUPER hard to capture....well, at least with an older camera like ours that takes FOREVER to write to the card and I have major lag time from the time I push the button and from the time it actually takes the picture. Oh well, at least I got a couple of good ones in there. :o)
