Some Catching Up

It's been a while since our last post, so bear with me--this might be a long and random post. :o)
First off, we celebrated Jack's big 2-9 birthday on the 28th. Unfortunately, on his birthday weekend, our household was sick again. :oP Fortunately we ended up going out for lunch for his birthday before we all got sick...and picked up "our" birthday gifts for ourselves before we all got sick too.
But here's a pic of Jack on his birthday. We had a nice breakfast together...and of course he got what he wants the most as a gift-money.

Now please tell me there are people out there that agree with me that money is the most BORING gift to give your own spouse for their birthdays! For goodness sake, if they just want money, what's the difference from them just going to the ATM and getting out money, eh? And I have to say, men are a LOT harder to shop for then women.
Ok, done venting now. :o) And now here are some random pictures of Jaxon that make me laugh. He really likes having things over his head...well everything except for his actual hats! But he loves towels, and any type of material or item of clothing. Here he decided to put one of my shirts over his head...so I decided to help him out a little so it wouldn't fall off.

And last, but not least, we had a great Easter, but missed our families terribly. It was fun to do a little Easter egg hunt for Jaxon now that he's finally a little older and can get the gist of it. Here's a little video of him trying to find the eggs.

And here are some pics.

Here he was worried we were going to take away his eggs.

We had a wonderful Easter program in our ward and it was nice to have a bit of sunshine for Easter Sunday as well. Jaxon and I got to be twinners in pink for Sunday.

Hope everyone is doing well and hope everyone had a great Easter!

Glenn always wants money for gifts too. I've finally decided that if he is getting cash from me he has to work for it. So I do a treasure hunt or something creative like that. That way it is fun for me too.

Money is good from others, but its fun to get someTHING for your birthday! Glad to see Jaxon running around, hunting those eggs... it's so funny how they are content with just one and we want them to find them all!! Yay for spring, you look beautiful in your pink dress!

I second Nada, you look so pretty in pink and so skinny! I cannot believe how grown up Jaxon is looking. I miss that little baby! We will have to get out there soon to see him before he gets any bigger!

i love his froggy pajamas! my family went out of town for easter so i kicked it by myself for most of the weekend. i was pretty bummed out but then had a few true-meaning-of-easter moments that made it one of the best easter's i've ever had!! i love the scriptures!

Some fun pix. I was looking for the face of Christ in the pancake, though. Then I figured out it was a heart... Just kidding! :) Jaxon looks so cute as a bedowan (spelling). It's so funny he likes things on his head. And Sam and Lincoln have twinner jammies. What a cute kid Jaxon is. And Jack, money really is boring... What does he spend it on?

Love and miss you guys!

Love the pictures. It makes me smile! I can't believe you still have that pink dress. I'm glad you can still wear it -- it's got some history!

Happy Early Birthday Bernice!
And I would definitely agree with you about $ for a spouses birthday present! I suppose if it came with the "spend it on ANYTHING you want" tag...okay...but then get a gift card or something.
And Jaxon has the same jammies as our 3 boys...they call them their "froggers". In a sentence, "How about we all wear our Froggers tonight!"
