Fabulous Baby Showers from Fabulous Friends

I am soooo lucky and blessed to have had so much love and support from soooo many people in helping us prepare for the arrival of little Baby Madsen. I have to send a shout out to Theresa, Kelli, Nada, and Alexandria for throwing absolutely FANTASTIC baby showers for me. Also, I have to thank so many people for their generosity in getting us things that we so desperately needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you! It is so nice and appreciated to have such fabulous people around me and I am so blessed to know each and everyone of you! THANKS AGAIN!

Fun, Christmas Fun...a little late

We LOVE making gingerbread houses with our good buds Kelli and Matt and it's kind of become a little tradition for us every December...for the past two years. :o) Both years we have decided to go "from scratch" and get our own candy and graham crackers and make our own frosting and see what we come up with. Last year the boys kind of "beat" the girls in their architectural design and stability, but this year, I think we all did pretty well. Our houses all stayed up for the pictures and lasted through the holidays. :o) Anyhow, I know it's not Christmas anymore, but I thought I'd share since we had sooooo much fun doing those gingerbread houses and we got some great pics of them too. :o) P.S. Look at how much smaller my tummy was even just a month ago...*sigh*

Busy, Busy Clinic

We've been madly preparing for this baby now for so long and now that I'm in the last stretch, it kind of makes me frustrated to feel like at the clinic I'm at that I'm just one out of the bazillion women out here in Utah County having a baby. The clinic I go to is just soooo overbooked and crowded and I hate that they keep on bumping appointments, ESPECIALLY when I'm in the last stretch of it. I'm anxious to be seeing the doctor on a weekly basis at the time I set up with them and it's hard to not be able to count on one, even seeing your doctor, and two, even getting in for an appointment. Having a baby here in Utah county is definitely a different experience I think then having a baby anywhere else. It will be interesting to see how this process goes for the next one outside of Utah. On a happy note, Jack and I toured the hospital I'm delivering at and it's really nice and comfy looking and doesn't look anything at all like the other part of the hospital I had spent some time in over the summer...which was something I was a little worried about. So, our prenatal classes are over, our tour is over, our nursery is mostly set up. I think we're as ready as we can be...maybe...?? :o)

Merry, Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!

I apologize profusely that I was unable to get out a card in time to everyone this year. I have to say I should have kept better track with my list of sending out and emailing and all that...especially with the pregnancy brain going on. But I know I must have forgotten some of you, so I apologize again. But do know that you are thought of fondly during this holiday season and Jack and I love you all and hope to be able to keep in better contact with you all. Loves!
